In the global new energy industry innovation hub — Shenzhen Guangming, a landmark project serving the national "Dual Carbon" and energy security strategy, and leading the deep integration of industry intelligence and green development, officially broke ground.

On the morning of June 12, the "Repower AI Inspection New Energy Base & Global Zero-Carbon Center" project, invested and constructed by Shenzhen Repower Technology Co., Ltd. (Repower), held its grand groundbreaking ceremony in Guangming District, Shenzhen. As the flagship project of the company's "AI Battery Safety Large Model + PV-Storage Integration + Zero-Carbon Campus" trinity strategy, the official launch of this project marks Repower's substantive step in deeply integrating into the global new energy industry cluster and building core capabilities in energy security intelligent inspection and zero-carbon intelligent manufacturing. It also injects new strong momentum into Shenzhen's accelerated construction of a world-class new energy vehicle and new-type energy storage industry center.

Yang Li, Member of the Guangming District Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department; Wang Fangcheng, Member of the Guangming District Committee and Deputy District Mayor; responsible officials from relevant departments of Guangming District; as well as representatives from Repower, its partners, industry associations, and media attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

 

 

The project is located in Fenghuang Street, Guangming District, Shenzhen, covering an area of 16,000 square meters, with plans to build nearly 85,000 square meters of R&D centers, factory buildings, and related supporting facilities. Anchored in the direction of intelligence, green development, and globalization, it will create a modern industrial complex integrating cutting-edge R&D, intelligent manufacturing, and global operation and maintenance services, with a focus on building a world-class battery safety intelligent inspection and testing platform, a zero-carbon smart campus model, and a new energy technology innovation incubation space. In his speech, Repower Chairman Mao Guangfu stated that the landing of this project is a significant initiative for Repower to align with the national trend of green energy structure transformation and actively respond to the policy direction of accelerating the deep integration of new-generation information technology and manufacturing.

Upon full completion, the project will leverage cutting-edge AI technology to build a new intelligent inspection system covering the full lifecycle of batteries, energy storage systems, and new-type power equipment, while simultaneously establishing a battery safety standard research and testing certification base. It will create a zero-emission demonstration campus with green power direct connection as the energy foundation, providing a replicable and scalable industry paradigm for zero-carbon manufacturing. It will also build a global technical service and market response network, promoting China's new energy inspection standards and integrated solutions to the world stage, and further enhancing the global competitiveness of China's new energy industry.

 

 

From starting up in Shenzhen in 2003 to now landing the flagship Global Zero-Carbon Center project in Guangming District, Repower's development journey is a growth history that resonates with China's new energy industry.
